Hi, I’m Victoria Teran — author, educator, and creative soul with a deep love for storytelling and self-discovery.
I have been a high school Media teacher and have also taught Art and Design. I have always loved storytelling with visuals, words, and most importantly, meaningful human connection. I have an education and experience in film and television and also have a diploma in counselling, and have always been fascinated by why we tell stories.
Creativity has always been my foundation. Whenever I working with story, developing ideas with students or considering the complexities of being human, I am always thinking about the moments that shape us and how we grow through those moments.
My debut book, What Love Took, What Grief Gave: The Raw, Messy and Beautiful Truth About Becoming Yourself, captures that journey. It is honest, vulnerable, and slightly rebellious— a book about love, loss, healing, and the often messy journey back to yourself. When I am not writing or creating, you can find me running, hitting golf balls, or navigating to life as a mum of two teenagers. All the while I hope to keep on making things that feel real, that provide comfort or spark courage- and reminds us we are never alone in what we feel.
